It was a magical evening of fun and socializing with fabulous food & wine at the beautiful Danville home/resort of Vince & Karen.

Wines were brought to share and many came with interesting stories. Gigi Pizza Catering provided freshly made “on the premises” pizzas made in a real pizza oven to whet our appetite and our hosts provided an array of special appetizers. After a while the initial 107 degree weather simmered down, and we ventured out of their air conditioned home to enjoy a delightful dinner outside.

Dinner was a true feast and much of it was prepared by our hosts. It included fresh green salads, pesto pasta, choices of mixed grilled meats & veggies, and ended with a selection of homemade desserts, including a decadent chocolate cake from SusieCakes to celebrate Steve Smith’s birthday.

The club gives Indra, Diane, Vince and Karen a heartful thanks for making the evening a true delight.
