The 2026 Annual Picnic for the Cellar Society was held at Concannon Vineyards on Saturday, July 11, 2026. It was a beautiful day made all the more so by our wonderful hosts Andre and Melinda Solomon. Members and guests enjoyed a guided wine tasting as well as pizza from Zachary’s and other treats. Melinda put together a ‘Guess How Many’ game with Mike and Ike candies (congratulations Eileen!)

Later that afternoon, we went to Darcie Kent Winery for another tasting and good conversation.

On Sunday, a group of members and friends went to brunch in Danville. A great event indeed!

Part I

12-3pm Guided Wine Tasting and Pizza Picnic at Concannon Vineyard
Join us for wine and an outdoor pizza party while seated under the shade and comfort of the grape arbor on the grounds of Concannon Vineyard in historic Livermore Valley. 
You can also enjoy a wine flight of five reserve wines, and savory pies from Zachary’s Pizza, plus a variety of salads.
Or, you may opt to bring your own picnic lunch, purchase deli items from the winery, and/or order from the onsite food truck of the day.

About Darcie Kent Estate Winery: In 2008, the release of DeMayo Chardonnay became the “house white” of the San Francisco Four Seasons Hotel, and the 2012 vintage was poured at Michelle Obama’s  2013 First Lady’s Luncheon.
