Zinfandel, October 10, 2026

Marjie and Steve Shank are pleased to announce our Zinfandel tasting on Saturday, Oct. 10 at 6:00 pm. The venue will be in Mill Valley at the Club at Harbor Point, which has a delightful restaurant, the Lighthouse Bar and Grill, right on the waterfront overlooking the Strawberry Lagoon. We can accommodate 22 tasters and 30 diners. Members have priority until Oct. 1st. We expect to be able to accommodate extra guests, as we know a number of members will be traveling.

The selected wines will have ratings of 93 points or higher and will represent Sonoma County, Napa Valley, Alexander Valley/Russian River and Paso Robles. There will be some famous names you’ll recognize and hopefully some pleasant surprises as well, as we love to share our favorites.

The costs are estimated to be $40 per person for the wine and $100 for the 3-course dinner with a Caesar salad, chocolate mousse and a choice of:

• Grilled New York steak with peppercorn sauce and french fries
• Grilled filet of salmon with mushroom risotto, asparagus & lemon beurre blanc, or
• Linguini primavera with a light pesto cream sauce, fresh spinach & assorted vegetables.
